During the design of the 2017 cleanup plan for the Matlack, Inc. Superfund site in Woolwich Township, New Jersey, the volume of soil contamination in the Former Lagoon Area portion of the site increased significantly from what was originally anticipated. This change has been described in a document called an Explanation of Significant Difference (ESD).
